First NHS Hospital is Allergen Accredited! Following extensive input from the catering team as well as medical colleagues from the hospital- the services to patients and staff are now fully Allergen Aware with the industry led Allergen Accreditation scheme.

We are part of the NHS Musgrove Park Hospital, which encompasses, Whitlock’s Restaurant where we serve Cooked Breakfast, hot and cold meals at lunch, also hot and cold drinks and desserts.

Throughout the day we serve cold, sweet and savoury snacks as well as hot and cold drinks.

We also have Whitlock’s Café (in the Beacon Centre) where we serve hot and cold snacks and hot and cold drinks.

We have notices displayed in the restaurant asking customers to ask the staff about any food allergies or intolerance's.

We speak to the staff in Whitlock’s one on one about changes in allergen ingredients.

Patients communicate their allergens to the catering department via the onsite quality system, ensuring the correct information is known by all in the food supply chain through to actual service.
