Food Service Allergen Management 2 years on and six months in!

Setting the standards for safe Food Service Allergen Management

Almost 2 years on and six months in!

We are nearing the first 6 month point (13th June 2015) of the introduction of the EU FIC and nearing the two years since Allergen Accreditation has been assisting food and drink businesses with their compliance to this law and meeting the needs of people with food allergies

The scheme covers England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

The scheme was originally intended to allow any type of catering business to verify their systems and have their allergen strategies benchmarked.

It’s become more than that however!  We are now an active advisory centre for all types of enquiries; we have a centralised resource centre that performs as a one stop shop for all a business’s allergen planning needs.  Therefore we are more than an accreditation body and are here to help all businesses.
